As cute as they are tasty, melted snowman cookies are. These will look great on your holiday cookie tray and make both kids and adults happy.
Ingredient
-1 package Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix 1 pound 1.5 ounces
-½ cup unsalted butter softened
-1 large egg
-12 ounces white candy melts
-Black sugar pearls or black candy confetti for eyes and buttons
-Orange candy-coated sunflower seeds or orange jimmies for noses
-White sparkling sugar
-Various festive sprinkles
Instruction
Preheat oven to 375°F. Baking sheet parchment.
Mix cookie mix, butter, and egg in a large bowl or stand mixer bowl with paddle attachment. Mix with a wooden spoon or mixer until soft dough.

Make walnut-sized dough balls (⅔) for snowman bodies. Place slightly flattened on baking sheet. Roll marble-sized snowman head balls from the remaining dough and place on the baking tray without flattening. Head and body counts should match.

Bake edges 8-10 minutes till slightly golden. Cookies should be stiff enough to transfer to a cooling rack after 5 minutes on the baking sheet. Cool completely before decorating.

A small pot with 1-2 inches of water should simmer. In a saucepan-mounted waterless metal or glass mixing bowl, add candy melts. Throw the bowl in hot water to melt and smooth discs.

Under cookie cooling rack, wax or parchment. Place a dot of melted candy coating on the bottom of a little cookie to one border of a larger cookie. Once set, spoon coating over cookie, leaving overhang.

Add two black sugar pearls or confetti pieces for eyes and an orange candy-coated sunflower seed or jimmy for a carrot nose to the biscuit immediately

Put three sugar pearls or confetti sprinkles on the bottom cookie as buttons. Dust the snowman with white sanding sugar and seasonal sprinkles.
Dry and store airtight.
