A collection of five ornaments with different designs will be presented by the United States Mint on August 24. Each ornament will feature one of the five 2023 American Women quarter dollars that are part of the ongoing four-year series that began the previous year.
Bessie Coleman, Edith Kanakaʻole, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jovita Idar, and Maria Tallchief are the individuals who are honored in this year's quarters thanks to their significant contributions to the growth and history of the nation.
The $35 ornaments are $4 higher than last year's launch. Each ornament includes a Philadelphia U.S. Mint uncirculated quarter. Uncirculated coins are made for collectors. These coins are hand placed into coining presses and struck on polished blanks for a dazzling finish.
At this time, the product pages of the Mint that are dedicated to souvenirs display them without any restrictions. The souvenirs from the previous year are still available, with a maximum of 5,000 for each item. According to the numbers provided by the United States Mint as of May 28th, sales ranged from little more than 1,700 to 3,040.
Already accessible are subscriptions for the ornaments that are being sold. Subscriptions to the United States Mint operate in a manner that is analogous to that of magazine subscriptions, in which subscription holders get new items as they become available.
If you want to acquire an ornament subscription, the total cost of the ornaments is $175, which is comparable to $35 for each individual ornament included in the subscription.
In addition, the United States Mint offers free delivery on products that are subscribed to, which results in a discount of $5.95 that may be applied to other purchases.
