At-Home Philly Cheesesteak Recipe

Most Americans have heard of and experienced a Philly cheesesteak. After adding sandwiches to their hot dog business in the 1930s, Pat and Harry Olivieri, Charley's brothers, offered these.

Ingredient

– 1 pound shaved beef – 1 teaspoon salt, divided – ½ teaspoon ground pepper – ½ teaspoon onion powder – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce – 1 tablespoon banana pepper brine – 2 medium onions, sliced or chopped4 ounces mushrooms, sliced – 4 hoagie roll – 4 slices of provolone cheese

Direction

With a small amount of oil, add the meat that has been shaved to a pan that has been heated.

Add ½ teaspoon salt, pepper, onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to meat.

Break up the meat while frying, then add 1 tablespoon of banana pepper brine after browning. Remove and save the meat from the skillet.

Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet with extra oil. Add remaining salt. Cook the vegetables for 10 minutes to soften.

Return the steak to the pan and stir it to blend the ingredients.

Put the meat on the hoagie rolls and then cover them with cheese or cheez whiz.

You can melt the provolone cheese on the roll by putting it under the oven.Serve right away.
