Chocolate Crinkle Cookies Recipe

These chocolate crinkle cookies are really gooey inside! The recipe doesn't call for chilling, and the curly top is made by rolling them in powdered sugar.

Ingredient

– 1 ⅛ cup All-purpose flour – ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder – ½ teaspoon Baking soda – ½ teaspoon Salt – ½ cup Unsalted butter melted – ½ cup Brown sugar packed light or dark – ½ cup White granulated sugar – 2 Large eggs room temperature – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – ¾ cup Mini chocolate chip – 3 tablespoon White granulated sugar – ⅓ cup Powdered sugar

Direction

Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium basin. Set aside.Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar for 2 minutes on high speed. It will pale greatly.

Mix in eggs and vanilla. Medium-mix until thoroughly blended.Mix in dry ingredients. Low-speed mix until mixed. Mix in small chocolate chips.

Warm the oven up to 350℉. Set up two cookie sheets with parchment paper between them. For 10 minutes, let the dough rest so that it doesn't spread.

Divide granulated and powdered sugar into two small bowls. Grab a 1 oz (1 Tablespoon) cookie scoop and scoop the dough. Hand-roll the dough into a ball.

Dip the cookie dough ball in granulated sugar. Next, roll in powdered sugar. Sprinkle plenty of powdered sugar on the cookie dough ball! Use 12 cookie dough balls per sheet.

Rest the cookie dough balls for 15 minutes. Spreading will decrease and crinkle top will improve.Bake each cookie sheet by itself. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Underbaking makes fudgy cookies soft. They'll cook on the hot pan.Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack after 5 minutes on the heated pan.
