Classic Key Lime Pie Recipe

This key lime pie has a handmade graham cracker crust, creamy sweet-tart filling, and whipped cream. It looks great but is easy to prepare! 

– 1 and ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (180 grams) – ⅓ cup granulated sugar (65 grams) – 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled (85 grams)



Making graham cracker crust: Heat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Mix sugar and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl until well blended. 


Mix in the melted butter until all the crumbs are saturated. Scoop the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan and press it into an equal layer on the bottom and sides.


Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Cool for 10 minutes after removing from the oven while making the filling. Keep oven at 350°F (180°C).
