We don't like "dry" burgers. Using lean proteins like turkey, burgers may easily dry out. Luckily, creator Catherine Brookes' traditional, not dry turkey burger recipe eliminates dry, gritty, and unappetizing burgers.
Ingredient
– 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided– ½ red onion, diced– 1 pound high-fat, ground turkey– ½ teaspoon garlic powder– ½ teaspoon onion powder– 1 egg, beaten– 2 tablespoons breadcrumb– ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce– 1 teaspoon soy sauce– 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped– ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste

Set a pan over medium-low heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Add the red onion and stir it around a lot for about 5 minutes, until it gets soft.

Mix the fried onion and other ingredients except olive oil in a big bowl.

Smash everything with your hands until fully blended.Make 6 hockey puck-sized patties from the ingredients.

In a cooking pan over medium-high heat, heat the last tablespoon of oil.

They should be fried for about 6 minutes on each side, or until the outside is golden and the middle is no longer pink.

Put the burgers on buns and top them with your favorite sauces and toppings.
