3 cups dark chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons Peppermint essence
Ingredient
Direction
Put parchment paper in a sheet pan that is 11 inches by 7 inches. The candy canes should be roughly chopped. After adding one inch of water to a pot, place it on the stove and set the heat to a low setting.
1
Ensure that the base of the large bowl does not come into contact with the water as you place it on top of the pot.
2
Dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and sugar should be added to the bowl, and the mixture should be stirred on a regular basis until it is completely gone.
3
Once the bowl has been removed from the heat, add the peppermint extract and stir it in.
4
A layer of the fudge mixture should be spread out evenly in the pan that has been lined, and then the candy canes should be sprinkled on top.
5
Put the fudge in the refrigerator for one hour so that it can harden. The fudge should be removed from the pan and then cut into squares before being served.
