– 8oz of your preferred pasta – 3 tablespoons of olive oil – 3 cloves of garlic, minced – 1/4 cup of chicken or vegetable stock – Zest and juice of 1 lemon – 1/4 cup grated parmesan – Salt and pepper to taste – Chopped parsley for garnish

Boil some salty water in a pot. Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it's almost al dente. Make a mess with the pasta and set it aside.

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. Put in the minced garlic and cook for one minute, until the garlic smells good.

Add the lemon juice and stock. Bring the liquid to a low simmer and cook for two to three minutes, until it just starts to dry out.

The pan should no longer be hot. Toss the cooked pasta in the lemony sauce after adding it.
