Melt heavy cream, butter, and parmesan to make Alfredo sauce. Alfredo's delicious taste comes from dairy products rather than tomatoes, unlike other pasta sauces.
Ingredient
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream– 2 cloves of garlic, minced– 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg– 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Ingredient
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese– 2 tablespoons of butter– Salt to taste
Instruction
Slowly heat the heavy whipping cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring every now and then, until it just starts to simmer. Turn down the heat.
1
Grind the garlic and mix it with the nutmeg, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Add this to the hot cream. If you keep whisking for two to three minutes, the cheese will melt and the sauce will be silky smooth.
2
Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter. Whisk the butter in until it is fully mixed in.
3
You can add salt to the sauce based on your taste. Use an immersion blender on low speed for 30 seconds to make a sauce that is very smooth.
4
Warm up some homemade Alfredo sauce and put it on top of cooked pasta, chicken, or vegetables. If you want, add more shredded Parmesan as a garnish.

Tips
As it cools, the sauce will get even thicker. If it's too thick, add a little milk or cream. Make the seasonings taste better.
