Ingredient
– 2 pounds dried fig– 2 cups sugar– ¼ cup lemon juice– ⅓ cup water
Direction
Mix figs and sugar in a big pot.Mix lemon juice and water. Over medium heat, boil.

Bring the heat down to a simmer. Let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes, until it gets thicker.

After it has cooled, put it to jars. Chill for up to three months before serving.
