This one-pot Instant Pot Mac and Cheese recipe requires no pasta preparation or draining. Our favorite comfort cuisine made creamy and fast.

– 2 cups Water Or Broth– 1/2 cup Milk Full Fat– 1 Box Boxed Mac and Cheese– 2 tbs Butter

Plug in your Instant Pot and insert the clean inner pot.Put 2 cups of water or broth in the Instant Pot's inner pot.

Pour boxed macaroni into the pot and spread evenly.
Close the Instant Pot lid and seal using the valve.

Select "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" and set the shortest cooking duration to 4 minutes. Select "High" pressure.

The Instant Pot will require time to reach pressure before cooking.

After cooking, carefully flip the valve to vent to relieve pressure.
Watch out for hot steam. Opening the Instant Pot lid is safe after the float valve drops.

Combine milk, butter, and sauce in your instant pot.
Mix well until the cheese is melted and blended.
Add milk and mix to thin down mac and cheese.
