Made, shared, and eaten, fudge is a favorite treat. A classic fudge recipe uses sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips to make a chocolatey treat that sets firm in the fridge.
¼ cup butter
⅔ cup granulated allulose
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups low carb chocolate chips
½ cup natural no-sugar-added peanut butter
¼ cup peanuts, chopped
Ingredient
Direction
The butter, allulose, heavy cream, and vanilla extract should be mixed together in a skillet of medium size and heated over medium heat.
1
Cook over medium heat for fifteen minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture is thick and a light golden brown color.
2
A large bowl should be used to scrape the mixture after it has been allowed to cool for five minutes.
3
The peanut butter and chocolate chips should be added to the bowl immediately. When the chocolate chips have completely melted, stir the mixture.
4
When placing the fudge in a baking pan that is 8 inches by 8 inches and lined with parchment paper, use a rubber spatula to spread it out into an even layer.
5
After placing the fudge in the refrigerator to chill and set for at least an hour, sprinkle the chopped peanuts across the top of the fudge in an even manner.
6
Before cutting the fudge into pieces, you should wait ten minutes for it to reach room temperature before you start enjoying it.
