This simple Peppermint Bark is made with white chocolate and semisweet chocolate layers that taste great with peppermint. This is a great, easy treat for the holidays.
Put parchment paper or a silicone baking mat on the bottom of a large baking sheet. Put away.

Melt chopped semi-sweet chocolate and ½ teaspoon of oil in a microwave-safe bowl for 20-30 seconds, stirring well after each increment, until smooth. Add ¼ tsp peppermint extract.

Spread the melted chocolate evenly on the parchment paper or silicone baking mat. The semi-sweet chocolate baking sheet should be refrigerated for 20 minutes to set.

After semi-sweet chocolate is nearly chilled, mix chopped white chocolate and remaining ½ teaspoon of oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir well after each 20-30 second microwave increment until smooth and melted.

When the semi-sweet chocolate layer is firm to the touch, remove it from the fridge. Pour the slightly cooled white chocolate over the semi-sweet chocolate and spread it evenly.

Top with crushed candy canes and refrigerate for 45 minutes to set the white chocolate layer. Divide, serve, and enjoy!
