Sliced Potatoes In Air Fryer Recipe 

This potato side dish is now served with air-fried sliced potatoes. You can make delicious sliced potatoes in under 15 minutes with few ingredients and a simple cooking process.

– 2 pounds larger Russet potatoe – 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or more if needed – 1 teaspoon garlic powder for stronger flavor use 1 medium garlic clove  – 1 teaspoon onion powder – ½ teaspoon dried thyme – 1 teaspoon salt or to taste – ½ teaspoon paprika – fresh thyme for serving – black pepper to taste optional



Slice potatoes lengthwise into ¼-inch thick slices. Not thin. Cut potato hearts with a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Used 2-inch cookie heart.

You can skip this step and leave the round slices. Stir seasonings into potatoes in a large bowl.

Mix in olive oil. Spray the air fryer tray lightly with oil before adding seasoned potato slices.

Pre-heat the air fryer to 375 F per manufacturer instructions. Place potatoes in basket in single layer.

Avoid overcrowding the basket and cook in batches. Turn potatoes halfway through air-frying at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-11 minutes.

When the potato slices are finished cooking, the edges should have a golden brown colour.

These can be served as an appetiser with dipping sauces, as a side dish, or even as an alternative to hash browns for breakfast.
