– 2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 cups packed brown sugar – 1 cup butter, softened – 2 egg – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract Topping: – 2 tablespoons white sugar – 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon – ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger Glaze: – 1 cup confectioners' sugar – ¼ cup heavy whipping cream – 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Prepare a baking pan measuring 9 by 13 inches by greasing it.

Add salt, baking powder, and flour. Cream brown sugar, butter, eggs, and 1 tablespoon vanilla essence using an electric mixer. Thick, well-mixed batter. Spread on a pan.
