The Dynamic Practices of Kundalini Yoga: Awakening the Spiritual Energy.

Kundalini Yoga awakens the Kundalini energy, visible as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine, and is active and transforming.

To awaken this spiritual energy, the practice uses physical postures, breathwork (pranayama), chanting (mantra), meditation, and sound vibration.

Kriyas are Kundalini Yoga exercises. Kriyas are postures, breathwork, and sound methods that affect the mind, body, and soul. Every kriya is designed to change something.

Rapid, strong exhales and passive inhales characterize this rhythmic breath. Breath of Fire is supposed to activate Kundalini, revitalize the body, and clear the mind. It's often utilized with postures and moves.

Kundalini Yoga directs energy flow with mudras and bandhas. These techniques channel Kundalini energy through specific routes, fostering balance and spiritual enlightenment.

Chanting mantras is important to Kundalini Yoga. Sacred sounds or phrases called mantras vibrate the body and mind. Mantra purifies the intellect, opens the heart, and raises consciousness.

Kundalini Yoga recognizes the subtle energy body, including nadis and chakras. Kundalini Yoga balances and activates these subtle energy pathways to release Kundalini energy.

Personal experiences vary while awakening Kundalini energy, which is transforming and spiritual. Kundalini Yoga practitioners claim increased awareness, spiritual awakening, and a deeper connection to the self and cosmos.
