Boulder, Colorado takes the top spot as the happiest place to live in America.
Other cities in the top five include Santa Cruz, California; Charlottesville, Virginia; Fort Collins, Colorado; and San Luis Obispo, California.
The study was conducted by National Geographic and author Dan Buettner, who identified the world's happiest places in his book, 'The Blue Zones of Happiness.'
