This weekend's Powerball: what you need to know

LET'S START

The Saturday night Powerball drawing for an estimated $750 million failed to produce a winner.

The anticipated jackpot for Monday's drawing has so increased to $785 million. The jackpot, if won, would rank fourth all-time in this game.

Although nobody took home the grand prize, many people across the country woke up Sunday morning millionaires (after taxes).

Players need to match all five numbers drawn and the powerball number to win the jackpot.

Powerball Lottery winners will be announced Monday night at 11:59 p.m. ET.

In Michigan, one person won $2 million by matching all five numbers with the Power Play but not the Powerball.

On Wednesday night's drawing, the Powerball was 21, and the winning numbers were 1, 12, 20, 33, 66, and 21. There was a 2X Power Play.

One million dollars' worth of winning tickets with all five numbers correct were sold in the states of California, Florida, and New York.

The odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 292,201,338, the odds of winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 11,688,053.52.
