Waffle Recipe Recipe

You only need eight ingredients and a little time to prepare this fluffy waffle dish. Your food on the weekend just got better! 

– 2 cups (250 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled) – 3 tablespoons (40 grams) granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 ¾ cups (420 ml) whole milk – ⅓ cup (80 ml) canola or vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 2 large eggs (room temperature and separated)



Preheat and set aside the waffle maker. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk milk, oil, vanilla extract, and egg yolks in a large bowl until mixed. 


Stir dry and wet components until blended. In a clean dish, beat egg whites hard. Mix egg whites into batter gently. Spray waffle maker nonstick. 


Scoop or ladle batter onto the heated waffle iron, lock the lid, and cook until crisp and golden brown. Hot with maple syrup, fruit, or toppings.
